Well. That was unexpected.

I'm afraid I lied. I'm still in Galway.

I shut down the computer after the previous post, and tossed it in the bag--the last thing to go, always. I loaded up my bags in a cab bound for the bus station that would shuttle me off to Shannon.

I had one last stop to make before getting on the bus. And there, just about 50 yards from the bus station, I changed my mind. I found another cab and came right back to the house.

There are a large number of reasons and circumstances why, but I'm not going to get into them all now.

Suffice to say the details for now are that I've rebooked my flight to return July 19th.

And for the moment, I couldn't be happier.

I am so glad I don't have to drive to O'Hare in rush traffic on a Friday...but let me know if you need my services on the 19th - oops...I think I am out of town for the rest of the month LOL

Ah Tristan...it's wrapped itself around your heart, hasn't it?

This reminds me of the end of "Local Hero". You need to watch that movie when you get home. IF you come home, that is.

Well, at least it will give you more time to figure out what my present is going to be! HA HA

Hugs,
Pat

My immediate thought, as I was reading this, was of the movie Local Hero, which was Chuck's and my favorite movie.

Maybe I'll see you when you do get back to the States. I'm gonna be in Chicago the 20th through 22nd.

Leslie... We'll probably be crossing paths, unfortunately.

There's a kid having a birthday party back in Michigan on the 21st and I'm not going to miss that.

I guess I'm going to have to check out "Local Hero" though. You know, they do have video stores over here...

Nice to know someone is thinking along the same lines I am. You really have to check out "Local Hero", Tris...think about it and when you do, you will see we are right.
