Now back on Irish soil, but in the terminal at Shannon. My bus back up to Galway doesn't leave until 1:15am, and then it's an hour and a half ride up there. There's not much to do in the terminal in Shannon at midnight on a Monday night.
Too bad my laptop's in Galway... free wifi zone in the whole airport.
But that reminds me of one more of those small, random thoughts I had while meandering around Ulm the other day. It would've been even more poignant of a point had I chosen to go to Salzburg, rather than staying in Germany.
You see, I left my bags in a luggage locker in the train station in Munich. So here I was wandering around this foreign city, with all my worldly possessions save for my passport, a couple credit cards, my camera, and the clothes on my back, spread out across three different countries and at least five different cities!
Kind of a strange sensation when you think about it.
